Art Project

So this is a little side art project I have been working on for a few months. It was sort of a test to myself. I set out to get 20 photos and ended up with 18, but I'm ok with that because these are the meaningful ones.

My mom sent me this and it's what inspired me:

She found it somewhere on the internet. I choose a few ideas that I liked and just went my own way with it.

1. Where you sleep: This is my bed, it's a tangled comfy mess of pillows and blankets.

2. Something you're reading: Yes, I like dirty books. This is from Chelsea Handler's "My Horizontal Life."

3. Breakfast: Greek yogurt with lots of honey.

4. You.

5. Inside your fridge.

6. Water. This is a fountain downtown near PECI. 

7. Lunch: Pad Thai. With star shaped rice and Thai iced tea. Ridiculously good. Downtown. Really want to eat some again now that I'm staring at the picture... Who want to go to Thai food with me?

8. Something old.

12. Something you wore: This is not actually my ring, it's something I borrowed.

13. Nature: I love blossoms in the spring even if everything makes me sneeze.

14. Daily routine: I used to walk by this fountain everyday on my way to PECI.

15. Color: Bouquet picked from my yard.

Painting for Jake

OK, so I know I haven't written in a LONG time. I know I don't update regularly or even often enough. BUT! I still want to keep this blog going when I can. I have been getting back into painting so I've included one of my recent paintings below. I painted this for Jake for is room. It is actually a very small painting, not normal size.

Also wanted to state some reasons why I haven't been updating. I had a temp job recently that was taking up a lot of my time for the past few weeks and then now I'm on the island for a week. In addition, I've been working on a specific photography project (which I will be posting as soon as I finish).

Anyway, just wanted to explain. I hope to do more posts in the next few days.
